How To

Graft

Prepare a pot by covering the hole at the bottom with mesh.
Use a sharp knife to cut using the plant stems diagonally. Prepare Charcoball by soaking it in water.
Prepare cuttings (a knife) and insert them into the Charcoball.
Make a hole in the Charcoball an instrument such as a clopstich and firmly insert the cutting.

Planting Bulbs

Plants that grow from bulbs can be divided into two types: those that grow roots from above the bulb (lilies and gladioli) and those that grow roots only from the bottom (tulips, hyacinths).
Lilies and other flowers that grow roots from above the bulb should be planted deep in the soil (about 3 times the height of the bulb, 15 to 20 cm from the top of the pot, leaving 10 cm of soil at the bottom of the pot). When planting tulips and other bulbs that grow roots only from the bottom into a pot, one should allow approximately 2cm of soil above the bulbs.
In the use of Charcoball both types of bulbs can be planted in a similar way.
Prepare a pot by covering the hole at the bottom with mesh.
Fill the pot 2/3 to 3/4 full with Charcoball and plant the bulbs (select a pot appropriate for the type of bulbs).
Either water the pot from the bottom or water gently from the top. Place in a sunny indoor location to enjoy.
